Leo Rodriguez Named Kakivik's Texas Operations Manager

Kakivik Names New Project Manager for Texas Operations

Neederland/La Porte, TX - Kakivik Asset Management, LLC is pleased to announce that effective June 8, 2009 Leo Rodriguez has been promoted to the position of Project Manager for Kakivik's Texas operations. He will be operating out of Kakivik's office in La Porte as well as managing activity at Neederland.

Mr. Rodriguez has more than 15 years experience as an inspector, PSM Coordinator, Mechanical Integrity Supervisor, NDE Technician and as Project Manager. He has held multiple positions of responsibility in program management; data acquisition, analysis, management and reporting; site supervision; hiring, budgets, work orders, inventory and procurement; and for client and job close-out reporting. He has worked extensively in the Texas and Alaska oil and gas fields and at major facilities in both states.

Leo will be responsible for strategic oversight of Kakivik's Texas Operations; and working in tandem with Kakivik's executive and managerial teams developing new business opportunities in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico.

He holds certifications as an API 510 and 570 Inspector, ASNT RT, PT, MT and UT Level II Certifications; and has held a corporate UT Level III.
